A Rare Treat

Captured from the peak of Latemar Mountain, 22 miles away, this photo exhibits the entirety of the Pala Group (Also known as the Pale di San Martino), the largest and Southern-most section of the Dolomites mountain range. Photos at such a distance are typically plagued with a deafening haze (as shown by the approaching rains from the right of the frame), and ideal conditions - if they do come - often last only minutes, so capturing this view in such clarity is a rare treat.
